Kyndra Joi is the host Kyndra Joi is a Radio Personality on WBOK, with her on show, “On the Move”! She serves as the Executive Director of the non-profit I Am My Sister, is a Licensed Master Social Worker, Cultural and Holistic Family Health Consultant, Certified Belief Therapist, Certified Herbalist, Recording Artist, and Emcee. Kyndra has earned a Master of Social Work degree from Illinois State University and has over 16 years of experience in the community servicing children and families as well as Entertaining the masses! Born and raised in Charleston, South Carolina, Kyndra is affectionately known as “Gullah Girl” in the community and actively educates and creates awareness of the Gullah culture through her interactive workshops of language, dance, and song.

City of New Orleans: The Future Is Now
Kimberly Walker LaGrue serves as the Chief Information Officer (CIO) for the City of New Orleans and head of the Office of Information Technology and Innovation. Ms. LaGrue and her team are responsible for delivering stable, IT services to City of New Orleans employees and constituents through sustainable, forward-looking strategies for growth and expansion of IT services. She also has a responsibility to improve New Orleans’ positioning as a tech-savvy, smart city, able to address challenges with 21st-century technology. A New Orleans native with over 25 years of experience in IT operations, telecommunications and data management, she has spent most of her career modernizing and advancing technology in local government. Kimberly serves as an advisory board member of the Internet of Things Consortium and participates in Smart City initiatives at local, state and national levels. She is a fierce advocate for local broadband adoption and is personally committed to digital equity, digital literacy and technology opportunities for all New Orleanians.

Sabrina Short is the founder of NOLAVATE Black and the executive producer of Black Tech NOLA. She is known as the “Great Connector” because of her unwavering passion for community and social justice. A former faith-based community organizer, she has worked closely with organizations across the country advocating youth leadership and civic engagement. Mrs. Short is also a certified community developer through the Communities of Shalom at Drew University. With over 15 years experience in nonprofit management and program development, Sabrina’s work has been recognized nationally for youth-led social justice campaigns around education and health in New Orleans. 
She now advocates diversity and inclusion in the technology industry through her NOLAVATE Black Initiative placing her amoung distinguished women in tech as a 2019 Ada Lovelace Nominee. She believes “It is important that we create spaces where everyone is invited, supported and included. We each have a divine right to live out our purpose and be successful doing what we love.”
